Mike
Nademlynsky is the owner of Florentino’s SuperSupreme
ice cream. Mike was born in Czechoslovakia. He escaped
from the then-communist country in 1969 with his family
and found his way to Los Angeles. Mike pursued the American
dream of building a unique company, dedicated to providing
superior desserts in the European tradition.
Mike was determined to open a "gelato" parlor,
and make improvements on the European dessert. His improvements
to Gelato, the Italian version of ice cream, centered
on capturing the intense flavors in the Gelato tradition
while restoring the creamy richness of American super
premium brands. In 1982 he achieved that dream by opening
his first store. Today recognition for his gourmet ice
cream has grown worldwide. Together
with his wife, Mike has built Florentino’s from
a single ice cream shop into a company that distributes
ice cream and desserts to major hotels, fine dining restaurants
and resorts. It is Mike’s high level of perfection
that sets him apart form the competition. One taste is
